My Bedroom

The key to beginning a bedroom design is picking your colors! I decided to go with white, blush pinks, and mauves. Pillows are my favorite accessory, I went with a simple white comforter and dressed up the bedding with different textured pillows! That makes all the difference. I painted this bedroom suit with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in the color "Old White." Old doors stand next to my headboard and I added a gold accent by putting the sconces on the doors!

I love to use both old and new furniture. I guess you could say my style is more rustic glam. I love the rustic look but I have to see some furry pillows or pops of color throughout. Perhaps my favorite part of my room is the fans, I chose fans that have rhinestones on the fixtures. The exposed beams add a rustic appeal and the lights create a whimsical feel. The furry rugs beside my bed add the girly look to distract the eye from the old wood floors!
